Akua Asare is a healthcare leader, champion for women in STEM and the founder of Professional Women At Work Ltd, a networking organisation for women in business. Akua has spent twenty years building quality systems and processes for the development of new pharmaceutical products and medical devices, growing and leading teams and mentoring junior staff. She is a member of the Research Quality Association and certified Principal Auditor.

Akua is a Career Coach and a member of the Human Workplace™ Coaching Network, a global community of coaches aligned with the Human Workplace™ movement to bring a human voice and human energy to work. Akua trained with Human Workplace CEO and Founder Liz Ryan to teach and mentor working people, executives, educators and not-for-profit leaders on how to build healthy workplaces and prepare students and working people for the 21st century workplace.
